IDAL MEMBERS AT IJCNN09

IDAL members J. Gómez and R. Magdalena hae atended the International Joint Conference on Nural Networks, hold in Atanta USA 13-19 June 09. They have presented an invited poster in a special session in CI in Direct Support of Patient Care, titledSurvival Prediction in Patients Undergoing Ischemic Cardiopathy. Charimans were Adam Gaweda, James diLeo and Alexandru Floares.

IDAL MEMBERS MEET JOHN HOPFIELD

IDAL members meet John Hopfield at IJCNN09 in Atlanta, USA. Prof. Hopfield, a recognized scientists in Physics and Neural Networks, gave a Plenary Talk titled Spike, Timing, Rhytms and the Effective Use of Neural Hardware. IDAL members talked with Prof. Hopfield, thanking his important contributions to science.

Jose D. Martin, from IDAL, was invited by Fresenius Medical Care to a invited session in New Insights in Bone Mineral Metabolism and Anaemia Management, within the Worl Congress in Nephrology hold in Milano (Italy) in May 22-26. The speech was abot mathematical models to predict iron dosage.

The Handbook of Research on Machine Learning Applications and Trends: Algorithms, Methods and Techniques will feature chapters authored by specialists in the different ML fields offering an in-depth description of key terms and concepts related to different areas, issues and trends regarding machine learning applications, methods, and techniques.
